Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for an Agronomist role in Lethbridge, Alberta

Responsibilities:

• Work as a specialist in crop production for the site to develop, provide training & a source for internal and external clients for crop production.

• Execute the organization’s crop input plans by doing the customer field meetings, coordinated product trials and work as customer agronomy events.

• Developing and maintain strategic relationships with our crop input suppliers.

• Give vision to the geographic locale utilizing area expert information in agronomy to recognize new harvest openings for the association and our clients driving steady income.

• Independently handle complex issues with negligible oversight, while raising just the most complicated issues to fitting staff

Requirements:

• Diploma Or Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or degree a related field or equivalent experience 

• Minimum 2 years related work experience

• Eligible for membership in the Provincial Institute of Agrologists

• Have proven working knowledge of plants, crops, soil, and related areas

• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
