Our client has an immediate full-time 12-month project opportunity available for an Automation Engineer with 2 months rotation (2 months onsite and 2-3 weeks remote (at home in Canada) in Montreal, QC

Automation  Engineer (3 positions)

• Minimum 3 years related Automation and verification experience associated with SQL Server, Wonderware System Platform, Siemens PLC, Allen Bradley PLC, Staubli Robots, iFix, FTBatch, PlantPAX (Allen Bradley), FTView ME, & FT View SE systems.

• Experience preferably related to automation and verification of drug product injectable operations, formulation, filling, or freeze drying equipment, systems and start up.

• BA/BS in engineering or technology related field.

• Tasks include: equipment troubleshooting, program changes, equipment startup/run support, recipe support, configurable device modification, I/O checks, alarm testing, drawing walkdowns, report generation/testing, configuration checks, functional testing, non-conformance writing & execution, and sequence of operation changes.
