Our client has full-time permanent position available for a Geotechnical Engineer in Winnipeg, MB   

Experience:

• 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

• Plan, develop and co-ordinate programs of geotechnical, geological, geophysical or geohydrological data acquisition, analysis and mapping

• Supervise technologists, technicians and other engineers and scientists

• Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects

• Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination

• Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects

Supervision:

• 1 to 2 people

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:

• Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association

• CADD Course

Computer and technology knowledge:

• AutoCAD

• MS Excel

• MS Outlook

• MS Word
