HR Manager

Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for an HR Manager in Richmond Hill, ON

The Human Resources (HR) Manager will be a key contributor to the Company’s HR functional excellence. Provide leadership in the areas of employee relations, performance management, talent management/development, engagement, and other HR projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for human resources related matters

  • Identifying human resource gaps in all areas of HR, including but not limited to: organizational effectiveness, performance management, training and development, leadership coaching, recruitment, compensation, total rewards & benefits, compliance, health & safety, and succession planning.

  • Provide consultation and coaching on issues related to legal and procedural compliance, employee relations, workforce planning, talent and performance management, recruitment & selection of senior roles, compensation, and organizational development.

  • Lead the HR team and manage the onboarding, and offboarding process for all employees

  • Partner with Payroll to proactively address payroll issues – train/coach and provide leadership on best practices for ADP Workforce Now

  • Identify and address issues/trends that may affect the overall health of the organization including morale, turnover, absenteeism, efficiency, and productivity

  • Work closely with managers to identify and resolve HR issues as they arise while promoting positive employee/management relations in carrying out day-to-day HR services and support.

  • Keep up to date and ensure compliance with various HR related legislative requirements, on employment laws and emerging trends

  • Create and provide reports, including KPI’s metrics as required.

  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.


Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of progressive HR leadership, preferably in Collections or in a high-volume Call Centre

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or related field

  • CHRP or CHRL preferred

  • Hands-on leadership with a high degree of accountability

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Track record for creating and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships at all levels of an organization

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines

  • Works effectively and reliably under pressure, adaptable to change

  • Results driven with a proven ability to execute quickly, effectively, deliver consistently and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

  • Experience working in complex, evolving, and fast paced environments
