Our client has a full-time permanent opportunity available for a Plumber in Etobicoke, ON 

Education:

•Registered Apprenticeship certificate

•or equivalent experience

•Plumbing technology/plumber

•Plumbing and related water supply services, other

Experience:

• 2 years to less than 3 years

• On the road

• Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities:

• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems

• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors

• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings

• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment

• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges

• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing

• Estimate costs and materials

• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size

Credentials:

•Plumber Trade Certification

•Driver's License (Class 3 or D)

Experience and specialization:

•Plumbing, cold water and drain lines

•High-rises (8 stories or more)
